SCOTTSDALE • A Pattern Generation. A two-person show of new paintings by Jeanne Mahaffey and Spencer Mahaffey hangs at Duley-Jones Gallery (480.945.8475, www.duleyjones.com) May 4-18.

Binh Danh. Lisa Sette Gallery (480.990.7342, www.lisasettegallery.com) presents a show of mixed-media works by Danh beginning May 14.

SEDONA • Landscape Works. VC Gallery of Fine Art (928.282.2265, www.vcsedona.com) presents a solo show of stylized landscape works carved into Plexiglas by Christopher Owen Nelson May 1-2.

New Artists. Lanning Gallery (928.282.6865, www.lanninggallery.com) showcases new art by Howard Hitchcock, Kathleen Kinkopf, and Richard Bruland in a three-person show on display May 1-15.

TUCSON • Group Show. Obsidian Gallery (520.577.3598, www.obsidian-gallery.com) presents works by Charity Hall, ceramics by Dana Smith, and mixed-media pieces by Thomas Hill on view through May 9.

Linda Connor. The University of Arizona’s Center for Creative Photography (520.621.7968, www.creativephotography.org) presents a show of photography by Connor on display through June 21.

ALBUQUERQUE • New Mexico Skies. Sumner & Dene (505.842.1400, www.sumnerdene.com) presents a group show of New Mexico sky paintings by Angus Macpherson, Frank McCulloch, Katherine Irish Henry, and Jeannie Sellmer, on display throughout the month.

SANTA FE • Brian Kershisnik. New paintings by Kershisnik hang at Meyer East Gallery (505.983.1657, www.meyereastgallery.com) beginning May 22.

Figuratively Speaking. A solo show of figurative paintings by Suchitra Bhosle opens May 22 at Meyer Gallery (505.983.1434, www.meyergalleries.com).

Jerry Jordan/Brent Lawrence. A two-person show opens May 1 at Manitou Galleries (505.986.0440, www.manitougalleries.com) and features sculpture by Lawrence and southwestern landscape paintings by Jordan.

Kathleen Morris. A solo show of Morris’ work hangs May 15 through June 21 at Box Gallery (505.989.4897, www.boxgallerysf.com).

Native Treasures. The fifth annual Native Treasures: Indian Arts Festival (505.476.1250, www.nativetreasuressantafe.org) features artwork by more than 170 artists and takes place the weekend of May 23-24.

TEXAS
